Shannon Greven
Regional Office Manager
I joined the Starkey HearCare team in 2014 as a Patient Services Coordinator in our Ft Oglethorpe, GA clinic. Since joining Starkey HearCare, I have had the pleasure of seeing patients and teammates lives changed due to better hearing. Because of this I have fallen in love with the hearing industry and am excited about the future of this industry and how it can change people’s lives for the better.
In 2017 I joined the Starkey HearCare leadership team as the Regional
Administrative Manager for our Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee clinics. Since then my role has changed, as I am now the Regional Manager for the Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee clinics.
My husband and I spend our free time on the soccer and softball fields watching our two girls play their favorite sports. If we aren’t on the ball fields, we are home with our 2 dogs, Merlin and Bibb and our cat, Archimedes.
Deanna Carson, RAC
Regional Administration Coordinator
Deanna Carson is from Culleoka, TN, where she graduated from Culleoka Unit School. She has been working with Hearing Aids for many years and loves saving hearing lives! She schedules appointments for all patients, manages all office administrative tasks, and helps in any way with patient care.
Amber Simpson, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Amber Simpson, BFA, HIS, is from Gainesville, FL. She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from East Tennessee State University and was licensed in Tennessee in 2008 and has also held an HIS license in Florida from 2010-2013. Her career really interested her because she loves the idea of helping patients to better understand loved ones and brining a sense of improvement to one’s overall health.
What she loves most about saving hearing lives is the joy of watching a patient hear things that haven’t been heard in many years…Hearing a patient say they can again listen to music and understand the words or maybe a grandchild they had never understood before and now can.
Amber wants her patients to know that her and her fellow staff members strive to help everyone to hear better and also get to know them on a personal level, they hope to bring them the best care possible and always keep an open mind on how to help improve how they are hearing.
For Amber, weekends are all about family and spending time together, or having friends over for a cookout. Her family loves anything that involves the outdoors, like camping, hiking or going to a baseball game. Amber’s hobbies consist of playing volleyball with her husband in a sand league, taking her toddler to the park, and cooking for her large family.
